My daughters needed character shoes for a musical they are currently in. The shoes came in great condition. However, we had to order them twice. The girls measured their feet inside shoes, so the first sizes we bought were way too big! We sent the too big shoes back. The second ones we bought fit well since they measured their feet barefoot and used the sizing chart correctly.
Tip: Don't order by street shoe size or by going up or down a size. Measure the foot of the person needing this shoe barefoot. Compare the length of their foot in inches to the size chart to determine what size shoe to order, and you should get shoes that fit well.

I loved these shoes
By Izzi Mielke
I loved these shoes! They fit perfect and they make me feel great wearing them!! I've used them for dancing and theater auditions, I've even just wore them out swing dancing all evening and they didn't bother me once! Only thing I have to say against them, is they seem so be coming a part, the bottoms of the shoe, the heel specifically, are coming off. I hope that maybe this was just a fluke because I'd hate to have to replace them so soon!! But I still love them so much and when I have to replace them, I'd buy them from here!

Poor quality for performances
By Rachele Brown
The shoes fit fine, but the quality is not good. Character shoes are meant to be worn for dance or theatre performances, which means they have to be well-made enough to withstand costume changes and hard wearing. I wore these in a Shakespeare performance (no dancing) and the strap pulled off during the second show. I had to wear broken shoes for the rest of the run (no time to send back), and now the window of return is closed. Buy better shoes, if you want them to last.
