CrossFitter entering my first oly competition... this singlet is actually cute!
I completely dreaded the idea of buying a hideous singlet, but to my delightful surprise this one is actually cute!!! It has a modest neckline, which I like. The back has a more dramatic scoop. The black is not shiny nor is it see through. The only minor complaint I have is that there is an elastic ring at the thigh, kind of like bike shorts. I am not uber lean and have quads like Christmas hams, so the elastic gives a little bit of thigh muffin as is. I am hoping it will stretch out a bit. The overall cut of the suit is actually really flattering and the fabric is Lululemon like. Very happy with my purchase. :-)

Good for powerlifting competition
I ordered this singlet for my first powerlifting competition. I was concerned about coverage as I'm fairly tall. At 5'8" and 123#, the small fits quite well. The legs hit at mid-thigh and the scoop neck comes just about 1" below my collarbone.
Thankfully standard competition rules allow you to wear undergarments as the material is a bit thinner than I'd originally imagined, but not see-through in any way. With a sports bra and weight-lifting briefs underneath, I feel quite secure that no one can see anything other than my wicked guns and gams. ;)
The black isn't shiny like other singlets, which I prefer as shinier fabrics tend to show each bump and line. It's light-weight and moves with you. The leg openings have a rubber/elastic lining inside so they don't slide up when you squat or deadlift. As far as inexpensive women's singlets go, this one's the best for your money and leaves you feeling covered and secure.

AWESOME under a BJJ gi!!!
By J. Ralston
I have been doing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) for 2.5 years. I am not one of those brave women who can rock just a sports-bra under my gi. (Kudos to those who are!) Up until now, I have worn a rash guard with compression shorts. I usually wear men's rash guards, because at 5' 10", women's are too short. The problem with men's rash guards, however, is they have the high, unflattering, neckline, and they are cut for a guy.
I was thinking it would be cool if I could somehow attach my rash guard to my compression shorts, to keep from constantly having to readjust/retuck it in. Then one day I was sitting at my son's wrestling match, and it hit me-- SINGLET! I had no idea if women's singlets existed, but sure enough, they do!
To be quite honest, I purchased this fully expecting to have to return it for one reason or another. I was SO wrong, I am in love with this singlet!!!
Comfort - This is way more comfortable than the rash guard/compression shorts combo.
-There is one less layer of material around your waist. Your gi pants will no longer shift your rash guard or compression shorts out of place. As if gi pants were not comfortable enough, these make them even more comfortable!
-This thing stays in place! It does not shift or ride up, whatsoever. I do not have to adjust this at all during class!
-The material is very forgiving and will fit multiple body types well. It is very stretchy. The material is similar to Under Armour base layers, slightly thicker than their tops, slightly thinner than their shorts.
-The neckline is very modest, yet feminine. It is high enough that nothing shows. (I am a B/C cup, so I am not sure how well it will cover those with a larger bust.)
-As other reviews suggested, the band around the leg holes is slightly tight, but I just give it a little stretch after I put it on, and then it does not bother me whatsoever.
Cost- This singlet is cheaper than a rash guard/compression short combo.
-Not really a con at this point, but I do not know how well this will hold up. It has held up well in the two months I have been training with it. (I will update this review when I can better speak for its durability.)
-This does not bother me, since my gi covers it up, but it might bother some. The back of this looks like the front, so the "X" of my sports bra shows quite a bit in back. It doesn't look bad, but it is not the most flattering look, either.
-I have the black version, and do not have trouble with it being see through. It is just thin enough that you might have issues with other colors. I could be wrong!
Being that this is a wrestling singlet, of course it could be worn for No-Gi. I am just not brave enough. ;o)
