Product Description
Giro comes from a unique place. Santa Cruz, California's location-at the intersection of surf and mountains-attracts people of an independent mindset: outdoors people; iconoclasts who set their own priorities, more inclined to put human values ahead of corporate interests. Counter intuitively, it turns out that Santa Cruz, a place where business shuts down when the surf is up, has proven to be a powerful entrepreneurial incubator.

    4Great look, mediocre quality.
    By K. Droddy
I ride approximately 3000 miles per year and replace my gloves yearly. I bought these gloves hoping they would last a full year but so far, I'm not sure they will. They look and feel great, if a tiny bit smaller than expected. The only flaw is that there are no pull tabs on the tips of any of the fingers to aid in removal of the gloves.

After a hard ride recently, I was pulling the gloves off and a small portion near my right finger tore. This was only after a few days use. I have used them for about a month since then with no other tears, so I'm hoping that was just a one-off deal and they will last a while longer.

Again, these gloves look and feel quite nice, but I am quite uncertain as to whether or not the will hold up for an entire year.

4Good value. Standard Giro fit so they fit me ...
    By Amazon Customer
My go-to, benchmark glove. Good value. Standard Giro fit so they fit me well. These particular Bravos supposedly have gel padding, but I can't tell the difference between these and older Bravos without gel padding. The padding is definitely noticeable, but it is even all the way across the palm unlike some Specialized BG fingerless gloves that have more padding in some areas. Those make my wrists to rotate and cause pain.

They are mediocre in high humidity. I soak these gloves thoroughly in the middle of the summer, but I haven't found any other pair that does noticeably better (PI, Specialized, a few other lesser known brands). I wear these gloves out about every 2 years, but, at $25/pair, I can afford to replace them.

    3They're just ok.
    By Vlad
Having used them once, I can say that they seem well made, look nice, are comfortable, and the size, XL, fits about as expected. But the padding is disappointingly thin and the "wipe cloth" on the thumb is thin, relatively nonabsorbent material. The velcro strap wrist-clasps are functional, just barely. The price, around $20 was about right for them; next time I'll be willing to pay more for a more substantial product.
